Pipe Joint Compound is a black, viscous, brushable liquid sealant and lubricant designed to help assemble and seal threaded joints on water, steam, oil and fuel lines.

LOCTITE 5113 Thread Sealant with PTFE is a non-hardening, solvent based, general purpose thread sealant with the added lubricity of PTFE for metal pipes. Won’t shred like tape and allows easy disassembly. Resists common shop fluids.
