Description
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Permatex Surface Prep Activator is a single component nonCFC solvent-based surface activator. The product is designed
to promote the speed of cure of Permatex anaerobic
adhesives and sealants. The product is also used as a
general purpose cleaning solvent. OEM specified. NSF
White Book registered.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
• For inactive metal surfaces*
• Large gaps
• Cold temperatures
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
1. Provide adequate ventilation.
2. Surfaces should be free of oil, dirt and grease.
3. Shake can well. Note: The product does not require a
ball agitator. For best results, the aerosol can should be
at room temperature before spraying.
4. Holding can 8 to 10 inches from the surface to be
coated, press the nozzle and discharge the product
uniformly. Allow surfaces to dry 3 to 5 minutes.
5. Apply anaerobic adhesive to mating surfaces and
assemble.
For Cleanup
1. Turn can upside-down and spray to clear nozzle.
2. Clean hands with Permatex brand hand cleaners.
