A two part, hand kneadable, putty type industrial strength Titanium-reinforced epoxy in stick form which is used to bond and repair metallic materials that will be exposed to high temperatures. Contrasting brown and white colored materials are mixed together to form a uniform golden brown titanium color to indicate thorough mixing. After 8 hours, High Temp™ can be drilled, sanded, threaded, machined or painted and it is resistant to water and most solvents. Permatex® High Temp™ does not bond to polyethylene and polypropylene and it is not intended for structural applications.
WoodWeld™ is a fast setting two-part epoxy system formulated for wood bonding and repairs. When fully cured it can be shaped, tapped, filed, sanded and drilled. It provides a lasting permanent bond that is stronger than the wood! WoodWeld™ has a 1:1 mixing ratio, sets in 6 minutes and cures in 1-3 hours. Rated at a tensile strength of 1800 PSI, WoodWeld™ cures to a light tan color.
J-B Weld™ is The Original Cold Weld two-part epoxy system that provides strong, lasting repairs to metal and multiple surfaces. Mixed at a ratio of 1:1, it forms a permanent bond and can be shaped, tapped, filed, sanded and drilled after curing. At room temperature, J-B Weld™ sets in 4-6 hours to a dark grey color. A full cure is reached in 15-24 hours. J-B Weld™ has a tensile strength of 5020 PSI and sets to a hard bond overnight. It can withstand temperatures up to 550ºF when fully cured.
Permatex’s General Purpose 5 Minute Gel Epoxy provides the flexibility to reposition before the setting time. The fast setting, two-part adhesive and filler system is specially formulated with a Blue Dye Indicator that disappears when it’s fully mixed and ready to use. The advanced gel formulation reduces mess and waste compared to traditional epoxies; unique indicator system takes the guesswork out of “ready to use”.
Ensure surfaces to be bonded are clean and free of dust, grease or oil. Surfaces should not be visibly wet or continuously damp.
Substrates must be stable. Remove the dirt with the appropriate solvent or sand down surfaces and clean afterwards from the dust. Before application, mask off the adjacent area with foil or tape, if necessary
MarineWeld™ is a specially formulated two-part epoxy cold weld system that provides for strong, lasting repairs for bonding different or similar surfaces, such as aluminum, metal, composites, fiberglass and others. MarineWeld™ sets in 4-6 hours at room temperature and is fully cured to a dark grey color in 15-24 hours. Once cured, it can be shaped, tapped, filed, sanded and drilled and will retain its strength above or below the waters’ surface. MarineWeld™ has a 1:1 mixing ratio and
