Applications

For workshops and maintenance departments in all industries, WEICON SF is the ideal product for:

•  quick repairs and bondings on leaky pipes, housings, gear boxes,  tanks, bearings, shafts and cylinders
•  anchoring, for example of steel anchors in concrete • aluminium, light-alloy and injection-moulding repairs
•  the fast reproduction of worn metal parts and to avoid downtimes
•  templates and models of pilot series
•  repairs of cracks and breaks in machine parts or casting moulds
•  manufacturing of clamping devices
•  repairs, touch-up work on holes and at points at which welding  work is undesirable or impossible

Materials

Plastic Metal SF can be applied on many different materials like for example:

• iron, steel, carbide and bronze
• aluminium, brass and copper
• glass, ceramics, concrete and wood
• as well as many hard plastics (except PTFE, polyethylene and polypropylene)

The use of glass fibre tape can improve the stability of the repair.
