PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Permatex Rust Dissolver Gel is an acid based thixotropic
liquid for dissolving rust on iron and steel surfaces. Product is
brushed on and later washed off with water. Contains no
ozone depleting compounds.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
• Dissolves rust from ferrous metals and ferrous alloys
• Removes rust from machinery, tools, boats, pipe, fencing,
drums, automobiles, trucks, motorcycles, and
tractors
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
1. Wear rubber gloves when using. Be sure that the rusted
surface is as free as possible of dirt, oil, grease, and
loose debris.
2. Brush Rust Dissolver Gel on liberally and work into
pitted areas.
3. Leave on surface for 5-10 minutes. Wipe off painted
surfaces immediately.
4. Wash or rise off with fresh water.
5. Repeat applications for heavily rusted surfaces and
allow product to remain on surface longer if necessary.
6. Limit applications to five minutes for chrome or plated
surfaces

GENERAL INFORMATION
This product is not recommended for use in pure oxygen
and/or oxygen rich systems and should not be selected
for use with chlorine or other strong oxidizing materials.
